Our financial support scheme is designed to give you the chance to apply for interest free loans, grants, bursaries and scholarships. The scheme is available to all customers. At a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult to gain money to fund your education or ventures, we are creating a scheme that will provide you with financial support without having to worry about paying high interest rates or being declined for a loan.

How the Scheme Works

The Scheme is contribution based, where you will contribute between: £20-£80 per month. After making contributions for a qualifying period of 6 months you can apply for financial support. The financial support that we offer includes loans, grants, bursaries, scholarships and hardship support. What if I need to apply for a loan or grant before the qualifying period of 6 months?

In some cases we may able to consider your application, however you would have to write to us justifying why we should give make an exception in your circumstance. Your request will be judged on its merit and you will also be invited to have an interview with our financial panel, before we are able to make a final decision on your application. This said; six months is not a long period to wait, especially when you consider that some programmes takes years before you can apply for any funds. Our advice is for you to join early as this will give you more time and chance to secure the funding that you need.

What happens after 6 months?

After the six months qualifying period you can apply for financial assistance, you may then wish to continue with the scheme or to opt out of the scheme. From our experience, continuing with the scheme is the best option since at least you will always have the option to apply to our scheme for financial support whenever you need it.

How soon will I became a member of the scheme?

You will become a member of the scheme as soon as you complete your online application form and make payment. Our systems is designed to allow you to fill in some basic details and to make payment using PayPal, which is the fastest and perhaps the most secure way of making payment online. Alternatively, you can pay directly into our bank account, simply contact info@review4students.com for our account details. As soon as we receive confirmation of payment we will add you to the scheme.

Am I guaranteed to get financial help?

Yes, we guarantee that we will be able to give you financial help, however the amount that we are able to give you at any one time may vary depending on the number of members that have signed up to the scheme. The more members that have, it is the more likely that we will be able to help you. In most cases you will get the full amount that you apply for but where we are able to give you the full amount we will write to you explaining how much we can give you.

Our View on the Government Cuts

Government cuts is starting to affect many of us, how can we cope with the cuts, do the cuts all have to be made at the same time and is the government making cuts in the right places? Our view is that we are sure that there are better ways to make cuts without having such a devastating impact on the economy. The banks are still paying out large bonuses and many public servants are still getting a pay rise at a time when we should be saving money. Surely, the money being used for bonuses could be used to help save jobs and stabilize the economy.

It is clear that the coalition government are stepping up the pace of reforms to the social welfare system. Today they announced changes to Incapacity Benefits that will mean that many claimants will now have to undergo medical checks to prove that they are unable to work. The changes have provoked mixed response and is seen as another one of the coalition's attempt to cut cost in public spending.
