This is a contribution based scheme that gives you the chance to apply for financial support without having to worry about being declined by your bank.

Our View on the Government Cuts

Government cuts is starting to affect many of us, how can we cope with the cuts, do the cuts all have to be made at the same time and is the government making cuts in the right places? Our view is that we are sure that there are better ways to make cuts without having such a devastating impact on the economy. The banks are still paying out large bonuses and many public servants are still getting a pay rise at a time when we should be saving money. Surely, the money being used for bonuses could be used to help save jobs and stabilize the economy.

Delays ove the Passage of the Health & Social Bill 

The coalition government has announced that they will be delaying the passage of the Health & Social Care Bill to allow for a longer consultation period. If the Bill becomes law, it will lead to one of the most radical 'shake-up' of the NHS since it was formed. 

 

Libyan Deadlock- 'Deal' or 'No Deal?'

According to news reports Col Gadaffi, is desperate to strike a deal that would see an end to the current ongoing conflicts in Libya. The problem is that the rival group is refusing to enter into any negotiations unless their conditions are met. So at the moment, the conflict continues and there is no sign of a deal being reached that would end it.

 

Those claiming Incapacity Benefits Told- 'Prove that you are Incapable or Working'!

It is clear that the coalition government are stepping up the pace of reforms to the social welfare system. Today they announced changes to Incapacity Benefits that will mean that many claimants will now have to undergo medical checks to prove that they are unable to work. The changes have provoked mixed response and is seen as another one of the coalition's attempt to cut cost in public spending.
